CBA encourages all members to be registered voters. Voter registration forms are sent out in new membership
packets to applicants who are not yet registered.
CBA strives to educate members about the legislative process on a Local, State and Federal level.
Members of CBA are encouraged to work with our Legislative Working Party
at the chapter and state level to obtain and maintain personal and direct relationships with legislators in all levels of
government.
CBA members are encouraged to work within party precincts in their districts volunteering and campaigning
for candidates who support issues favoring motorcyclists in NC.
CBA members work to educate legislators on the true facts about motorcycling, while lobbying for the efforts
of all motorcyclists in their state. CBA works to fight discrimination on all levels, and to prevent
unjust legislation from becoming unconstitutional laws.
CBA / ABATE of North Carolina offers each member a neutral ground on which to stand and support other
riders and enthusiasts.
REMEMBER!!! The Government only hears the loudest voices......
THE S.M.A.R.T PROGRAM
The Statewide Motorcycle Awareness and Rider Training Program was designed to enable the CBA to work
within the membership and the community to expand safety and awareness for the rider and the motorist. Members are available
to give presentations in high schools and before groups and organizations to educate average citizens about sharing the road
with motorcycles. CBA encour-
ages all riders to take a beginner or advanced NC Rider Education Course instructed at various community colleges across
the state.
MSAP
CBA members across the state are involved in promoting and teaching motorcyclists and motorists to "Share the Road" with our Motorcycle Safety Awareness Program.
